Our objects are:

• For the public benefit to relieve the suffering of German Wirehaired Pointers (GWPs) in need of care, protection and attention and in particular to provide and maintain rescue homes and places of safety or other facilities for the rescue, care, treatment for dogs in need.
• To promote safe and humane behaviour towards all dogs but in particular GWPs by providing appropriate security care protection and treatment for dogs in need of such care by reason of sickness maltreatment or unacceptable circumstances.
• To educate the public in matters pertaining  to animal welfare especially in relation to GWPs.
• Preventing cruelty and suffering amongst the breed.
• To offer advice to new owners about this natural hunting breed to ensure that they are handled responsibly and are trained adequately to be safe around livestock and people.
